Artist Management and Bookings– DJ Bob booked his first live act in 1989, and today continues to utilize his years of experience in all areas of the music industry to nurture and promote a stable of musicians from various genres and backgrounds. He has worked with countless bands and Dj’s in some form or another, and is well known for always booking the best combination of acts and introducing the most interesting and credible lineups to shows and festivals around the country. He generally chooses acts that share his same dedication to excellence and innovation in South African music.

Bookings – DJ – As a DJ, Bob specializes in what can best be described as an authentic mix of Soul-Jazz-Funk-Afro-Beat-hip-hop and Brazilian groove.

Event Production – Having run the ground-breaking live music venue, 206 Live and produced large-scale, ongoing events for brands like Levi’s and Old Mutual, as well as establishing and managing the Sipho Gumede stage at the OppiKoppi Festival since 1997, DJ Bob is a versatile veteran for whom no mission is impossible. When it comes to Artists, Sound, Lights, Staging and Backline, DJ Bob has the best contacts in the business. He is also known to run a good bar and is a potent Braai-Meester.

Stage Management – Dj Bob often moonlights as a stage manager for some of the larger events around the country.

Tour Management and Logistics – DJ Bob has toured with local talent such as 340ml and Kwani Experience to Africa and Europe, and toured with international acts like Baaba Maal, Hugh Masekela, Lloyd Cole, DJ Oil, Michelle Shocked and many more on their travels in SA and abroad.
