Stimorol and HHP are proud to announce a star-studded line-up for the exclusive, retro-themed parties scheduled to take place in Jozi at Carfax on Saturday 28 November and in Durban at Zulu Jazz Lounge on Saturday 19 December.
The Jozi line-up includes sets from the likes of DJ Kenzhero, Zubz, Dimplez and Mr Selwyn; while the Durban line-up adds Skyewanda, Abdus, DJ P-Kutt and DJ 2daxha! to a mix that already includes Kenzhero and Mr Selwyn.
It goes without saying that SAMA-award winning hiphop superstar and Stimorol brand icon HHP will perform at both shows, bringing his trademark Motswako style to the floor.
Tickets for the shows cost R60, party-goers must bring empty Stimorol wrappers to gain entrance as well as put themselves in line to win a series of great prizes – including an exclusive backstage VIP pass that includes a meet-and-greet and photo session with HHP. The more wrappers, the better your chance of winning!

More about the DJs:
Euphonik is arguably one of South Africa’s most sought after DJ’s, sitting at the cutting edge of the house music scene. He has scaled the ranks of DJ, producer and radio presenter territory in an incredibly short space of time and was recently included in the Mail & Guardian’s Top 300 young South Africans. Euphonik is currently one of only two DJs in South Africa who can successfully jump from playing at an upmarket Sandton club to a high school gig and then a bash in Soweto without drastically changing the music he plays – a clear indication that he is not only at the top of his game and has broad appeal but that he is also creating the future of what’s hot in South Africa.
The Grrrl aka Inka Kendzia is an animation director for her motion graphic design company meme by day, and a VJ by night. She started VJing in 2000 for africandope records, and has since played with local names ranging from krushedandsorted, moodphases5, and Kalahari surfers, to godessa, mr sakitumi and blackalicious, as well as international bands the violent femmes and dj qbert on their recent visits to SA. The grrrl has also toured extensively in South Africa and internationally, playing at the Cape Town Jazz Festival, Oppikoppi, Pukkelpop (Belgium), Festival du Sud (France) and HangART7 (Austria).
DJ Kenzhero aka Kenneth Bekizizwe Nzama began his career in 1998 with performances at poetry sessions in and around Johannesburg, but made his name deejaying alongside the likes of Tumi of the volume, Lebo Mashile, Blk Sonshine and Simphiwe Dana. He moved to Cape Town in 2001, and became a resident DJ at many clubs and lounge bars including Marvel, Baraza, Armchair and Placebo Lounge; playing as headline DJ for bands like Freshly Ground, Max Normal, The Goema and Captains of Cape Town.
Since his return to Gauteng in 2004, DJ Kenzhero has continued to be a regular feature on YFM, Tuks fm, Mutherfm.com as DJ, co-producer or co-host. He is well known on the club and corporate scene for his off-centre yet popular sessions, claiming residencies at The Colourbar, Devine lounge, 88, Tings ‘n Times and Sidewalk Café and touring to festivals like Oppi Koppi, Macufe and Urban Voice.
Zubz, known affectionately by his fans as “The Last Letta,” “The Legendary Golden micholder,“ and “the ill rhyme writer,” is rated as one of the most prolific African hip hop artists of this generation.
Born in Zambia, raised in Zimbabwe and now living in South Africa, Zubz is an award nominated emcee who graced the stage alongside TalibKweli, Dead Prez, Black Thought and JerudaDamajaat Black August early in his career and has since stepped on stages all over the world, sharing his music with audiences in Italy, Finland, Sweden, and The Netherlands, to name but a few. With three albums under his belt and a cult following of enthusiastic fans worldwide, Zubz is renowned for tackling social issues in a manner that is insightful yet entertaining.
